TRIX-8 Temperature Logger
Global Sensors TRIX-8 was the first digital temperature recorder to use the “credit card format”. Small size is more than an interesting feature. TRIX-8 is easy to mail and ship. It fits in container spaces that limit other temperature recorders due to odd or bulky shapes.
The best part about TRIX-8, however, is performance. Temperature accuracy is unmatched, providing a “true” ±0.5°C accuracy in the critical recording range. Most recorders claim this level of performance, but do not hold 100% of their product within those stated limits. TRIX-8 does. It is a recording device that with valid performance statistics delivers known accuracy as a standard feature.
LogTag Software is the best in the industry. Check it out here with a free download: Software
The unique external sensor makes the responsiveness of the TRIX-8 better than other temperature loggers. The thermistor element actually senses temperature outside of the logger case (see image at right). This permits the capture of more detail in the thermal history of the monitored environment.
Simple controls on the face of the logger allow the user to start logging or mark the record during a recording episode (to signal a specific event or time point).
TRIX-8 performs at a high level in general purpose temperature monitoring, but for certain applications, there are options. Two significant variations are available. For single use recording, the SRIC-4 model is available from Global Sensors on a bulk purchase basis. Call us for details. For low temperature monitoring, our TRIX-8 Dry Ice Model can measure with typical LogTag accuracy well into the dry ice temperature zone. Learn more ►
