Dual Temp 2 IR Combo Unit has Platinum RTD Probe
Here is a very well built IR thermometer that has a unique advantage. It has a built-in probe that is actually a platinum RTD sensor probe. This type of sensor is very stable and very accurate. Comparitively, this is an upgrade over the more common built-in thermistor probe. More accuracy = better results. More stability = better results for a long time.
The Dual Temp 2 is also specifically designed for HACCP programs. HACCP is becoming a standard requirement in food production, processing and food service. Aspects of calibration and documentation are specifically set up for HACCP.
Ergonomics are excellent. Just grip the handle and use like a gun…flip down the probe when needed.
